Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin returned back to his home state of Maine and brought some extra hardware with him.

The Stanley Cup arrived in the city of Biddeford for a special parade with Dumoulin Tuesday and then there was a public viewing where fans were able to see and take pictures with the trophy.

Dumoulin was a vital part of the 2015-16 Penguins championship team and logged 16 points on defense for Pittsburgh in 79 games.

The Biddeford native is the first ever Maine based hockey player to win the Stanley Cup.  Dumoulin has also won a high school state championship and a national title with Boston College.
