Rookie Eduardo Rodriguez was dominant for eight innings, Red Sox batters clubbed 16 hits and it all added up to a rare 9-1 laugher win for Boston over the Cleveland Indians.

Coming off a miserable start against Seattle, E-Rod pounded the strike zone, he gave up just six hits, struck out five and didn't walk a batter.

On offense, the Sox hit up and down the lineup, with the exception of Hanley Ramirez. Travis Shaw had four of the 16 hits. Brock Holt had three and two RBI. Mookie Betts knocked in three.

The Sox have now won four of their last five games, scoring 62 runs.
