The Husson Eagles baseball and softball teams completed doubleheader sweeps in North Atlantic Conference play over Lyndon State and Johnson State.

Coach Jason Harvey's baseball Eagles were on the road at Lyndon State in Vermont and took two games, 5-0 and 9-4.

GAME ONE::Husson 5  LSC 0   Senior RHP Ben Walls pitched a complete game four-hit shutout over the Hornets. He struck out four and didn't walk a batter in picking up his 5th win of the year...Ryan Rebar, Christian Corneil, Cam Archer and Alex Chapman all had two hits.

GAME TWO: Husson 9  LSC 4  After collecting 11 hits in game one, the Eagles pounded out another 14 in the second game of the twinbill...Logan Rogerson,  Sam Huston, Rebar,  Corneil, Chapman and Archer all had two hits.

The Eagles are now 11-5 in the NAC, 18-12 overall.

While baseball was on the road, the softball team used the Winkin Complex turf to play its NAC doubleheader vs Johnson State and coach Amy Allen's team won both games 8-0 and 8-2. The Eagles stay unbeaten in conference play and hit the 20 win mark for the season.

GAME  ONE: Husson 8  J-State 0  Arika Brochu pitched the five inning game shortened one-hit shutout. She also went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI.

GAME TWO: Husson 8  J-State 2  Alannah Healy and Jen Jones combined on a three hitter...Tamara Aunchman led the offense with two hits and a RBI.

The Eagles are now 21-9 overall and 6-0 in NAC.

Husson and J-State play another twinbill in Bangor Sunday.
