brewer1-kc.jpgOnly a couple weeks remain in the regular season for high school hockey teams and the Messalonskee Eagles have taken a firm hold of first place in class B with a 5-1 win over Brewer.

David Shedd's Witches were behind the eight ball from the start playing without top scorer Spencer Valley due to illness.

Messalonskee was led by the Cunningham brothers, Chase and Jared. Chase had a goal and two assists while Jared added two goals.

With the win the Eagles improvr to 12-2 while Brewer slips to 10-4.
