Eagles Drop Opener To Bates 71-65

The Husson Eagles women's basketball got team dropped its season opener to the Bates Bobcats 71-65.

Chandler Guerrette scored 24 points. Victoria McIntrye with a double-double, 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Bernadette Connors led Bates with 18.

The Eagles men's and women's teams play St. Joseph's College Thursday at Newman Gymnasium.

NAC conference play begins next Tuesday.
