Eagles Drop Twinbill To RIC

Husson University baseball dropped a doubleheader to Rhode Island College 8-2 and 3-2(11 innings) down in Florida.

The Eagles(1-4) are making a 6-day, 9-game swing through Florida.

Today in game 1 of the twinbill, Husson managed just five hits, two from Kyle Bishop and two from Christian Corneil.

RIC(5-3) had a big six run fifth inning to ice the game.

In game two, Husson got eight strong innings of pitching from Corey Mongiat and the teams were tied 2-2 after  seven innings. RIC finally pushed across a run in the 11th.

Bishop, Brandon Gendreau and JT Whitten each had two hits.
