Eagles Finish With Weekend Sweep

The Husson Eagles made it a 4-0 trip to UMaine Presque Isle, sweeping the Owls for the second straight time on Saturday afternoon.

NAC Women: Husson 89  UMPI 30  The Eagles shot 57% while holding the Owls to 19% in Saturday's victory. Five players scored in double figures as no player saw more than 27 minutes of action. Victoria Duarte led with 12 points.

Sarah Musselman had 10 for UMPI.

Husson is now 4-0 in the NAC, 7-5 overall. UMPI is 1-3 and 5-6.

NAC Men:  Husson 81  UMPI 68  This one was a three point game at the half. But, the Eagles outscored the Owls by 10 in the second half, including a 22-8 run.

Justin Thompson, Justin Martin and Justice Kendall all scored 18 points for Husson.

Shyquinn Dix had 20 for the Owls.

Husson improves to 4-0 and 8-5. UMPI is 0-4 and 6-7.
