Husson University pitching held UMaine Farmington hitters in check all day and the Eagles swept the Beavers 3-1 and 3-2 in North Atlantic Conference action.

The sweep gets Husson to an 8-2 mark in the NAC, 13-10 overall. UMF falls to 1-7 and 8-10.

GAME 1: Robert Graff threw a one hit complete game in the 3-1 win, striking out six and walking two. J.T. Whitten had two hits including a home run. Zach Sugar added two hits.

GAME 2: Four different Husson pitchers held UMF to just five hits in the 3-2 win. The Eagles offense generated only five hits, two by Ryan Rebar. He also had two RBI.

NOTE: The Husson softball team lost a twinbill to Thomas College Wednesday afternoon, losing 2-0 and 3-2. The Eagles fall to 1-3 in NAC, 5-17 overall. Thomas is 2-0 and 6-12.
