Eagles Host Alfred State

After starting the season with two road games, the Husson Eagles finally get their home opener Saturday. The noontime opponent is Alfred State from New York. And just like the Eagles, the Pioneers are looking for their first win.

Coach Gabby Price and his Husson team lost to Hartwick College and Springfield College. The stats show the Eagles struggling on offense, only 150 YPG.

Alfred State is spending its first year as a Division-3 team after years of junior college play. The Pioneers lost their first two games - at Ohio Northern and Concordia. The Pioneers have also struggled on offense, scoring just 21 points in the two games.

Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com will carry Saturday's game. Kickoff is set for Noon and the John Winkin Sports Complex.
