The Husson University basketball team is headed to Plattsburgh State College for the first round of the NCAA tournament and play Eastern Connecticut State in the first round.This will be the Eagles 10th NCAA tournament appearance in the last 20 years, and 17th in program history. Husson goes in with a 26-2 record while the Warriors are 22-6 after losing their conference championship over the weekend. The tournament starts on Friday with a time to be announced.

The two teams have three common opponents this season having played Keene St., St. Joe's and Nichols college. Husson is 3-0 against those teams while E. Connecticut St. is 5-0.

The other two teams in this bracket are the host Plattsburgh State (22-5) and MIT (20-8).
