The Husson Eagles earned a  Saturday split with the top ranked team in the North Atlantic Conference, the New England College Pilgrims. It sets up a crucial Sunday doubleheader at the Winkin Complex in Bangor.

The Pilgrims won a pitcher's duel in game one, 2-0. The Eagles fought back in game two to win 8-2. NEC is now 5-2 in NAC Conference play while the Husson is now 2-3.

GAME 1:  NEC's Carey Jameson outdueled Husson's Jesse Colford for the game one 2-0 win. Jameson got the shutout, pitching seven innings, scattering four hits, walked two and struck out three. Colford went the distance for the Eagles, giving up one earned run, five hits, did not walk a batter and struck out 10.

GAME 2:  Husson bounced back for the 8-2 victory in game two. The Eagles scored four times in the 5th inning to break the game open. Mike Wong knocked in two runs and the other two runs were unearned. Cody Collins worked the first five innings to pick up the win on the hill.
