Sabrina Vaillancourt was an All-American field hockey player at Husson University and now she returns to campus as the Eagles head coach. She takes over for Madelyn Hoeppner who took a position with USA Field Hockey in Colorado.

Vaillancourt scored 68 goals in 73 career games as a Husson player. She was a two-time NFHCA All-American, a four-time All-New England selection and a four-time North Atlantic Conference All-Tourney pick.

For the past two seasons, Vaillancourt coached the Nokomis HS field hockey team and has been head coach of Black Bear Elite Field Hockey in Orono.

The Eagles team went 6-7 overall last fall, 5-4 in the NAC. Vaillancourt's Husson team will open the season on September 2nd.
