North Atlantic Conference play to two tight game wins for the Husson Eagles over UMaine Farmington, 2-1 and 6-3 in nine innings.

GAME 1:  The Eagles took advantage of two UMF errors in the 3rd inning and scored two unearned runs. Tommy Burns made the runs hold up for the 2-1 victory. He pitched the seven inning complete game, giving up just one run on seven hits for his second win of the year.

Gavin Arsenault was the tough luck loser for the Beavers. He pitched all seven innings giving up just one hit and no earned runs.

GAME 2:  The Eagles scored three time in the 9th inning to win game two 6-3. A Luke Covey RBI hit, a Ryan Hoogterp RBI hit and a double steal accounted for the runs. Husson out hit UMF 10-6.

The twinbill puts Husson at 5-3 in the NAC (9-11 overall). The Beavers are now 2-6 and 5-12.

The Eagles turn around and play another NAC doubleheader Wednesday afternoon, hosting Thomas College.
