Eagles Win At NCAA Regional

The Husson Eagles softball team scores a 7-0 win over Eastern Connecticut State at the NCAA Regional in Massachusetts.

Senior Kayla Merrill threw a 5-hit complete game shutout. Merrill struck out 6 and did not walk a batter.

3B Sami Schultz knocked in 3 runs. Casey Lopes had 3 hits. Chelsea Brennan had 2 hits, including a home run.

The (27-11) Eagles play either Wheaton or Johnson&Wales Saturday at 11am in a winner's bracket game.
