The Husson baseball locked-up a number two seed for the North Atlantic Conference tournament after sweeping a double-header from Lyndon State Saturday afternoon.Pat McEwen struck out five and went the distance to help the Eagles win the first game 6-0. Dylan Foster had two hits, two stolen bases, and scored a run to help lead the offense.

Husson took the second game by an 11-0 score thanks to Josh Gaudette who had two hits and drove in four runs. J.T. Whitten added a hit and two rbi's. Tim Nason pitched the complete game four-hitter to improve his record to 5-0 on the season. The two teams will play another double-header Sunday at the Winkin Complex.

The UMaine baseball team made it three straight wins over New York Institute of Technology with an 11-4 win on Saturday. Alex Calbick, Scott Heath, and Steven Adam each drove in two runs to pace a Bears offense that pounded out 14 hits on the day.

Jeff Gelinas picked up his third win of the season after pitching the first six innings, striking out six and allowing just four hits.

The four game series concludes with a 1pm Sunday game on Sunday.

The UMaine softball team split a pair of games against Binghamton, dropping the first game 5-3 before getting a complete game four-hitter from Hannah Hill to win the game two by a 3-1 score.
