ECFC Poll: Husson Football Top Pick

The ECFC defending champion Husson Eagles enter the new season as the team to beat according to the coaches preseason poll.

Coach Gabby Price and his Eagles were picked to finish in first place by six of the eight coaches in the the ECFC. SUNY Maritime and Dean College received the other two first place votes.

Husson went 7-0 in conference a year ago and 9-2 overall.

ECFC Offensive Player of the Year John Smith returns to lead the Eagles ground game. Also returning is QB Cory Brandon for his junior year. Defensive Player of the Year Luke Washburn returns for his senior year.

The conference champion gets the automatic bid to the NCAA D-III playoffs.
