The Ellsworth Eagle's Boys Soccer Team played their second game in as many days, traveling up to Old Town to play the Coyotes, in a make-up game that was originally scheduled for September 6th. The Eagles doubled up Old Town 2-1.

Ellsworth scored first as Alex Braley put the ball in the back of the net at the 17:48 mark. Nikko Knapp evened up the score at 11:02, and the first half ended 1-1.

Jack Weeks scored the game winning goal for Ellsworth at 29:54, and the final score was Ellsworth 2 Old Town 1

In the first half Bruce St. Peter was in goal for Ellsworth and Austin Sheehan was in goal for Old Town.  Sheehan had 9 saves total and St. Peter had 4.

In the second half Austin Sheehan was still in goal for the Coyotes  and Nick Bagley started off in goal for Ellsworth until the 30:34 minute mark when he was hit in the head and had to sit out for about five minutes as St. Peter filled in for him.  Bagley returned and played the rest of the game and had 1 save.

Ellsworth is now 3-0 on the season. They travel  to Washington Academy on Wednesday September 17th at 4 PM and Caribou on Saturday, September 20th at 3 PM. Old Town is 2-1 on the season, and play at Orono on Tuesday, September 16th at 3:30.
