The Bangor Rams boys’ basketball team will host the top seeded Edward Little Red Eddies tonight at Red Barry Gymnasium in a Class AA match-up Thursday night.

The contest between the Rams and Red Eddies will be the second between the teams of the season, with the squads opening the 2016-17 season against one another back on December 9th.  In that match-up in Auburn, the Edward Little side jumped out to an early lead and then held off Bangor for a 58-42 victory.  Jarod Norcross-Plourde and Darby Shea led the way for EL with 14 points each, while Damien Vance led Bangor scorers with 11.

The Red Eddies are currently unbeaten on the season with a 9-0 mark and sit at the top spot Class AA standings.  Bangor is currently at 2-6 on the season and in eighth place.  The Rams last won on January 5th against the Brewer Witches and will wrap up a five game home stand on Thursday.
