Ellsbury Gets Walk Off Hit

The Red Sox scored 4 times in the bottom of the 9th inning to beat Cleveland 6-5. That win, combined with a Yankee loss, means Boston is back in a tie for first place.

Trailing 5-2 in the ninth against Indians closer Chris Perez, Dustin Pedroia started the comeback with a walk. David Ortiz doubled. Mike Napoli and Jarrod Saltalamacchia both hit RBI infield ground outs. It's 5-4.

Jonny Gomes walked. Stephen Drew singled. Jose Iglesias walked to load the bases. With a 2-1 count on Jacoby Ellsbury, Perez left the game with an arm injury. On the first pitch by the new pitcher, Ellsbury shot the gap in leftcenter and two runs score.
