Ellsworth Girls Beat John Bapst

Who is 2-1 on the season? The Ellsworth Lady Eagles are!!!! The Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team has jumped off to their best start in recent history and have won their second game of the season, after Friday, December 14th's victory over John Bapst at the Bangor Auditorium 44-37. That victory was the first over John Bapst in years.

According to reports from the Bangor Daily News, "Ellsworth outscored the Crusaders 17-10 in the 3rd Quarter to open up an eight point lead on the way to victory. Morgan Card connected for a game high 16 points to lead Ellsworth while Taylor White scored 12.  Jordan Turner led John Bapst with 15 points."

The Ellsworth Girls travel to Hermon on Monday, December 17 and the game may be heard on WDEA AM 1370 and WDEA Internet Radio with the pregame starting at 6:40 and tip-off at 7 PM
