Playing with a heavy heart, Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points but it wasn't enough to beat Chicago in game one of the NBA playoffs. The Bulls win it 106-102.

Thomas played a day after his 22-year-old sister was killed in a one-car accident in his home state of Washington.

Fighting back tears at times, Thomas did what you can do. It was other Celtics who didn't do their jobs.

The rebounders for one. The C's were out rebounded 32-16 in the first half. Chicago hauled down 20 offensive rebounds.

The Bulls went on a fourth quarter run and then hung on down the stretch. Jmmy Butler finished with 30 and Bobby Portis had 19 off the bench.

Game two of the series is at the Garden Tuesday night. No word yet on whether Thomas will play of not.
