After 16 seasons and close to 250 wins, Bangor High School baseball coach Jeff Fahey is steppping down. Counting his assistant coaching time, Fahey has 30 years with Rams baseball.

During an interview on 'The Morning Pitch Show' this morning, Fahey said he had been thinking about getting done throughout the summer and that he is at peace with his decision. He will stay on as head of Bangor's physical education department.

During his time as head coach, Fahey's teams won four state titles, including the last three seasons.

He won a state title as a Rams player in 1982 and won four titles as part of coach Bob Kelley's staff in the 1990's.

In June, Fahey was named ALL-USA Maine Baseball Coach of the Year.
