Memebers of the Boston Red Sox played a role in the American Leagues 5-3 win in the all-star game both on the field and on the bench.Jon Lester was the second pitcher to enter the game for the AL allowing three hits and two runs. Koji Uehara entered with two outs in the 6th inning and struck out Devin Mesoraco, leaving a runner stranded in scoring position.

Red Sox manager John Farrell ran the show from the bench and had to make decisions such as removing Derek Jeter in the top of the 4th inning, allowing the Yankee to get a standing ovation as he left the field in his last all-star game. You can check out his post-game press conference above.

Farrell, Lester, and Koji will get a couple days off as Boston will not resume the regular season until Friday when they host the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park.
