Eagles Score Late, Beat Broncos
The Messalonskee Eagles opened eyes a week ago knocking off unbeaten Brunswick and on Friday went on the road to Hampden and beat the Broncos 21-14 with a last minute touchdown.Corey McKenzie rushed for 163 yards but none were bigger than the 4-yard scamper with :55 seconds left in the game for the winning touchdown. That deciding score came after the Eagles tied the game early in the 4th quarter on a 6-yard run by quarterback Jake Dexter.
The Eagles improve to 4-3 on the season while the Broncos drop to 4-3 after losing for the second time in as many weeks.
