Hawks Win Over Crusaders 53-46

The Hermon Hawks not only got above the .500 mark but they move up to #9 in the Class B Heal points thanks to a 53-46 win over John Bapst.

Tyler Thayer came into the game as the Big East Conference #2 scorer and he pumped in 17 to lead the Hawks. Eric Hoogterp added 12.

With the win, Hermon improves to 6-5 and head to Washington Academy next on Saturday.

For John Bapst it was another loss by single digits. Five of the Crusaders seven losses have been tight games. Bapst record is now 3-7. Colby Kohn led in scoring with 12, Riley Tapley scored 11. The Crusaders are at Ellsworth Thursday.

The big Class B matchup last night was MDI's overtime win over Old Town 55-54. The win pumped the Trojans up to the #3 spot in the standings(8-2). The Coyotes are now #10 (8-4).
