In a match-up that would help determine a possible first round playoff bye, the Cheverus Stags beat Bangor 28-14 in high school football Saturday.Joe Fitzpatrick rushed for a game high 175 yards to lead the 6-1 Stags. Quarterback Isaac Dunn added to the offensive production by throwing 2 touchdown passes.

Dane Johnson led Bangor with 83 rushing yards as the Rams slip to 5-2 heading into their regular season finale against Oxford Hills next Friday.
