Maine's Ryan Flaherty is one of six Baltimore Orioles players who have yet to reach a deal for next season. If they cannot reach a deal they will go to arbitration.

Flaherty wants $1.5 million. The O's are offering $900,000.

If they don't reach an agreement before an arbitration hearing in February, the arbitration panel will pick one of those salaries.

The 28-year-old Flaherty is in his first year of eligibility. He earned $513,000 last year, playing in 102 games and hitting .221.

Flaherty is the son of Ed Flaherty, the longtime coach at the University of Southern Maine.
