Now the question is, will there be another Maine connection in the Birds infield Monday afternoon against the Sox. Jonathan Schoop is trying to earn the second base job in Birdland. As a 16-year-old kid he played for the Senior League World Series team from Curacao(2008) that played at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor. He is considered Baltimore’s top position prospect.
