For the first tiem in 14 years the MCI Huskies are LTC Champions after beating defending champs Bucksport 21-0.The Golden Bucks took a 7-0 lead at halftime as Jack Cyr's 1 yard run provided the only scoring over the first 24 minutes of the game.

MCI took the opening possession of the second half down the field and tied the game on a 4 yard Jonathan Santiago touchdown run. They would add to the lead early in the 4th quarter when Greg Vigue hit Eric Hathaway  for a 30 yard touchdown pass. Santiago would cap the scoring with 3:58 to play on a 1 yard plunge that sealed the win.

Santiago was held to just 12 yards rushing in the first half, but finished with 129 on 25 carries. Vigue went 8-19 in the air for 75 yards.

The Huskies will play defending state champion Oak Hill next Saturday.
