Former Black Bear Sets Up Overtime Game Winner [VIDEO]

Former UMaine goalie Ben Bishop played a big role in Tampa Bay's overtime win by assisting on the winning goal.Everyone knows Bishop can stop the puck, after all he was a finalist for the Vezina trophy last season. On Thursday night Bishop got involved in the offense by making a long pass to Victor Hedman who was able to beat Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo and give the Lightning a season opening win.

Bishop also made 19 saves in the game.
