It did not take long for former New England Patriot Kenbrell Thompkins to find a new home after signing with the Oakland Raiders.Thompkins was released by the Pats on Saturday in a move that surprised many. Coach Bill Belichick explained the move was to create roster space because of injuries. The Raiders who need help at many positions have picked the pass catcher off waivers.

Thompkins caught 32 passes for 466 yards and 4 touchdowns last season, his rookie year in the league. This season he was active for just 2 games where he had 6 receptions for 53 yards.
