Former Stearns Player Commits To Black Bears

  Two years ago Sigi Koizar was an exchange student at Stearns High School, two years later she's returning to play for UMaine.Koizar has signed her letter of intent and will join the UMaine team this fall. She helped lead Stearns to the Eastern Maine Championship where they lost to Central, but certainly gained much attention and fans with her exciting style of play. At Stearns she averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per game. Before and after her time at Stearns she was a member of the Austrian national teams.
