Former UM Captain Flynn Traded To Habs

Former UMaine hockey captain and Buffalo Sabre Brian Flynn is now a Montreal Canadien. He goes from a last place team to a first place team.

Now 26-years-old, Flynn had five goals and 12 assists for the Sabres this year. He has played in 159 NHL game in Buffalo.

Montreal gives up a 5th round draft pick in 2016 to get Flynn.

Flynn played in nearly 150 game for the Black Bears from 2008 to 2012.

The Massachusetts native now is a Montreal Canadien.
