Former UMaine goalie Scott Darling was a big part of the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins last night stopping 32 shots.

The Bruins got behind 3-0 before getting a second period goal from Reilly Smith. Milan Lucic made it 3-2 with a third period goal but that was all the scoring.

Zdeno Chara returned to the lineup after missing 19 games with a knee injury and played 24 minutes, second most on the team.

Bruins fall to 15-13-1, Chicago is 20-8-1.

Scott Darling is now 5-1 with a 1.80 GAA while filling in part time for injured goalie Corey Crawford.
