Fort Kent's Austin Theriault started 18th and finished 12th at the NASCAR Truck Series race in Iowa.

19-year-old Erik Jones, driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports, dominated the Friday night race and won for the first time this year.

Brandon Jones finished second while Theriault's teammate Tyler Reddick finished third.

For Theriault, it was a night of climbing from 18th all the way up to the number three spot early in the race and wound up 12th. It was his third straight race in the #29 truck owned by Brad Kesolowski. Now he dosn't race again for over a month. Theriault will drive in 13 of the 23 truck series races.

In just five starts so far, Theriault is 18th in the driver points standings with three top-10 finishes.
