The Husson Eagles are one win away from a NAC championship and a trip to the NCAA regionals. The Eagles scored a 7-6 over top seed Castleton State Saturday afternoon and that puts them in the championship round- one win away from a title.

After jumping out to an early 3-0 lead, Castleton State battled back with runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings to grab a 6-3 lead.

The Eagles came back on the Spartans in the 8th, scoring 4 runs.

NAC player of the year Dylan Foster had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Brandon Gendreau, Jordan Carter and Cody McInnnis all had 2 hits.

Casey Estes pitche 3.1 innings in relief and picked up the win.

Husson is now 26-13 and will play Sunday in the championship round.

UPDATE: Castleton State elilminated UMaine Farmington 8-2. The Spartans match up with Husson Sunday for the title. The Eagles need just one win. Castleton St needs to beat the Eagles twice.
