Foster,Nason Lead Eagles To Win

Husson baseball scored a 10-1 win over UMaine Farmington Friday afternoon to set up a second round NAC tournament matchup with Castleton State on Saturday.

The Eagles got a complete game win from righthander Tim Nason, who earlier in the day won the NAC Pitcher of the Year Award. Nason scattered 6 hits over nine innings.

Centerfielder Dylan Foster won NAC Player of the Year honors and was on base three times in the first tournament game, a hit and two walks.

Dennis Meehan had three RBI. Jordan Carter drove in two. JT Whitten had three hits and two RBI.

The stage is set for a Saturday noontime showdown between #1 Castleton State(26-9) and #2 Husson(25-13).
