Voting is underway to determine the McDonald's High School Athlete of the week. All four of this week's nominees play for teams that won on Championship Saturday to advance to the state finals in high school basketball.

Drew Hayward, junior guard at Woodland Junior-Senior High School, averaged 15 points per game in his team’s three tournament wins. The 5-foot-10 Hayward played a key role for his team as the Dragons knocked off Bangor Christian, Schenck and Jonesport-Beals on their way to a class D regional title.
