Foxcroft Academy senior Hunter Smith finally got back on the football field Saturday night and it happened to be at the home stadium of the NFL Tampa Bay Bucs.

Smith played in the North-South All American Bowl along with 90 other high school seniors who have college football aspirations.

For Smith, the chance to play in the game came after a long recuperation from a dislocated hip back in August. The injury wiped out his senior season with the Ponies.

Smith caught two passes, good for 32 yards. His North team shutout the South team 35-0.

NOTE:  Hunter Smith will talk about his experience playing in the All American Bowl on tomorrow's Morning Pitch Show at 7:35am on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com
