After dropping two road games to start the season, Gabby Price and the Husson Eagles opened the home portion of the schedule with a 13-0 win over Alfred State.

The Eagles first score came in the second quarter when freshman running back Kyle McKinnon took it in from 24 yards out giving Husson their first lead of the season. Quarterback Ryan Stroud had the other score on an 8 yard run in the fourth quarter.

Husson's defense was strong the entire game holding the Pioneers to just 141 total yards and 9 first downs. Senior Ernest Wiggins led the attack along with Stephan Dance totaling 6.5 tackles each. Ellis Throckmorton chipped in with 5.

The Eagles are now 1-2 on the season and have next week off before hosting Castleton State on homecoming weekend October 5th.
