You've seen stadiums with retractable roofs, but have you ever seen a retractable field? That's what the Patriots are playing on for the Super Bowl Sunday. The field at University of Phoenix Stadium sits on a tray and is rolled out of the stadium when it is not used so it can be watered and receive sunlight. When a game is to be played they roll the field back into the stadium which takes just under two hours from start to finish.
This will be the second time the Patriots play a Super Bowl in this stadium. In 2008 the Pats lost to the Giants in first ever Super Bowl played at UOP Stadium and the second ever in the state of Arizona.
Remember to listen to live coverage of the Patriots and Seahawks Sunday live from Arizona starting at 3:30, Super Bowl kickoff is at 6:30pm.
