Gillies MVP, Friars Are Nat’l Champs [VIDEO]

The Providence College Friars are college hockey national champs! A come-from-behind 4-3 over Boston University at Boston Garden Saturday night.

South Portland's Jon Gillies was named MVP for stopping 49 shots.

The Friars go from the last at-large team getting into the playoff field of 16 to national champs.
