At times Tuesday night Hampden senior Zach Gilpin was simply unstoppable. He led the Broncos to an 84-59 in over Bangor scoring 30 points. The points came from the inside, the outside, on put backs, just about anywhere he wanted to score.

The defending champion Broncos led by 8 after one quarter, then 11 at the half and 15 after three.

Along with Gilpin's 30, Isaiah Bess scored 15 and Brendan McIntyre had 17.

For Bangor, Alex Campbell led with 19 and Connor Adams had 12.

Both teams play game three of the season Friday night. Bangor is at Edward Little, Hampden is at Brunswick.
