The Boston Red Sox got a 3-run homer from Jonny Gomes in the 6th inning to break open a game that was tied at one and propel the Sox to 4-2 series tying win. With two outs in the 6th Dustin Pedroia singled and David Ortiz was walked bringing Gomes to the plate for his big blast. The game ended when Koji Uehara picked off Colton Wong at first who was pinch running for Allen Craig who singled earlier in the inning. The series is now tied at two with game 5 on Monday night.
