Gomes, Bogaerts Homer, Sox Win [VIDEO]
The Boston Red Sox used the home run ball to come from behind and beat the Kansas City Royals 5-4 at Fenway Park.After falling behind 4-1, the Sox put together a 4-run 6th inning which was highlighted by a 2-run homer by Jonny Gomes that gave Boston the lead. The first two runs of the inning came off the bat of Xander Bogaerts who also crushed a 2-run shot, his 7th of the season.
Clay Buchholz got the start and allowed 10 hits over 6 innings while striking out 3. He gets the win, his 5th this season while Koji Uehara closed out the game for his 19th save.
