As a state legislator Adam Goode has turned in some marathon days recently as they try to wrap up the session. Saturday he hit the road and won the 40th Tour Du Lac in Bucksport.Goode who is from Bangor finished the 10 mile race with a time of 54 minutes and 49 seconds which was good enough to beat out Ellsworth's Matt Homich by 31 seconds. Erik McCarthy of Old Town, Ken Akiha of Orono and Ian Fraser of Brewer rounded out the top 5.

Mary Clapper form New York took the women's title with a finishing time of 1 hour 13 minutes and 43 seconds.

The Tour Du Lac race which started in 1976 is one of the oldest races in the state.
