Put the New England Patriots win streak at seven games now after a 35-17 thrashing of the Miami Dolphins. The Pats are now 9-2 with five games to play in the season.

The nine wins guarantees a 17th straight winning year and that sets a record. No team since the 1970 NFL merger has done that.

Now not all was perfect for the Pats. Tom Brady got knocked down way too much. Plus the Patriots sustained a bunch of injuries.

But, Brady hooked with Rob Gronkowski for two TDs throws. That is 16 games of multiple TDs from Gronk and that's a franchise record.

Brady threw passes to eight different receivers. Brandin Cooks and Rex Birkhead caught TD passes.

And how about Dion Lewis. 15 rushes for 112 yards. As a team, the Patriots ran the ball for 196 yards.

The defense came up with seven sacks and two interceptions.

Next up for the Pats - a trip to Buffalo next Sunday.
