The NFL has suspended Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for one game, without pay, for his hit on Bills DB Tre'Davious White in the Pats 23-3 win yesterday.

Gronk was penalized but not ejected from the game when he leaped on top of White who was face down on the ground after a play. Gronk's elbow hit White in the back of the head.

It's his first suspension and he can appeal. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports there will be an appeal.
