The New England Patriots will try to use extra rest gained since playing their last game 10 days ago to their advantage as they face the Chicago Bears Sunday.Despite the extra rest, the Pats will have their work cut out for them after losing another key player to an injury. Chandler Jones will not play in the game after missing practice this week with a hip or hamstring injury. Rookie first round pick Dominique Easley is expected to get the start in his spot.

The Bears have a slight statistical edge over the Patriots in nearly every key category. What the Patriots have working for them in the continued progress of tight end Rob Gronkowski who has become a bigger part of the offense each week. Additionally, free agent pick-up Brandon LaFell has developed a better chemistry with Tom Brady and is starting to become a go to receiver.
