It was an old fashioned shootout when the Hampden Broncos and Bangor Rams met last night at 'The Stable'. 153 total points in 32 minutes of play.

The Broncos had the most, winning 80-73, avenging their only loss of the season. Hampden moves to 16-1. Bangor falls to 9-8.

The Broncos came out of the blocks with six three-pointers in the first quarter, three of them by Kory Winch. Hampden led 23-14.

After a more quiet second quarter, the two teams racked up 41 points in the third quarter and another 53 points in the fourth quarter.

Ian McIntyre had 15 in the second half and 21 for the game. Winch finished with 22.

Mat Fleming totaled 31 points for the Rams, 25 of them in the second half. Damien Vance added 21.

Hampden finishes the regular season at #2 Nokomis Thursday night. The Broncos will be the #1 in Class A North.

Bangor faces a must win situation Thursday night in hosting Edward Little HS in order to finish in the top four in Class AA North. They are about 14 out of the #4 home playoff spot.
